Last minute effort on the way home. There were two chicks tagging along but they never came close enough to focus properly.

The tiny details and abstract compositions are often overlooked (even squashed!) There are so many photographic opportunities under our feet its hard to know where to start. With macro photography you can immerse yourself in another little world.

Stunning, crisp morning in the heart of the island with the mist floating over the hills.
The is how I like to spend my Sunday's, out in the wild watching the world wake up and listening to the birds singing. Absolute bliss.

Weather geek alert! Stunning clouds formations over the channel this morning. I believe they are either Nimbostratus or Cumulus types.
Although I love the recent sunny days, I do miss the stormy winter months (for obvious reasons!).

Took Alana on an animal safari drive and ended up at the Goat Farm. It also turns out Grandpa has some land we can turn into a mini farm as well. Watch this space!

The intention was to photograph the moonrise over Sark but I couldn't find a composition I was happy with. This was a four shot panoramic ten minutes earlier.

The transformation is pretty much complete. The scenery is made, but picking the right light and composition is the challenging part.

Eventually left my bed after ignoring the alarm three times but it was worth the trip down to the Pine Forest.
Other than including myself in a few frames, I set up, sat on a log and sipped coffee for an hour, just watching the day unfold. Lovely!
