West coast sunrise over the road to Cobo Bay. The skies were pretty dull and I nearly gave up on this but eventual the sun broke through for a few minutes giving some awesome clarity on the landscape.
Works well with some car trails too.

Another stunning day in Guernseyland. The clouds started to roll in late afternoon and I had hoped for some more colour in the sky but it was still a lovely evening. 882 days complete!

Trying to keep my fitness levels up with another cliff walk around Le Gouffre. I did stop far too many times to get a shot of the butterflies. Slightly messy background on this but they tend to stick close to the ground on windy days.

Finally found the rubber ducks! I stumbled upon them over a year ago in a random lane way out west but never remembered where! Perfect weather for them today.

Took the kids to Candie Garden to pass some time and Alana spotted the Heron fishing in the pond. She also freaked out because 'it looked at her'!

In a moment of weakness I couldn't help but return to capture a few more shots of the Damselfly's. This was the shot I had in mind but I was hoping for more backlight and slightly thinner grass. They just didn't understand what I was trying to tell them!

Lots of bugs enjoying the warm weather at the moment. I wanted to get a photograph of these Burnet Moths last year but never managed to find one. One to tick off in the Ladybird i-Spy Nature book :)

Mind blowing sunrise over the channel this morning. This was about 20 minutes before the sun came up. Seeing this just makes all those failed attempts worth it, and there is a lot more behind this project that never made it.

Low tide at 4.0m barely exposed the causeway but gave the opportunity to get a bit creative with the rocks and shallow pools. There was some atmospheric refraction just before the sun went down but the colours of the sunset was stunning.
