Bright, sunny days are great for shadows and this paint brush just caught my eye. The mix of old and new paint, strong shadow and the slightly rusty textures sold it for me.

Rainbows celebrated their 30th birthday with a celebration in Herm. Couldn't have asked for better weather for the girls. Bless their cotton socks :)

Friday adventures into the unknown. Always a little excitement when you know you shouldn't really be there.
NB. This was a very risky climb down and I would highly recommend speaking to Outdoor Guernsey if you want to see the cave. I did not get permission to be down there and it could have easily gone very wrong.

Rain or shine, there are still things to find. This grasshopper was playing a game of hide and seek behind the blades of grass, occasionally peeking around to have a look. Tricky lighting this low down in the grass and lying in the wet ground wasn't the best idea.

West coast sunrise over the road to Cobo Bay. The skies were pretty dull and I nearly gave up on this but eventual the sun broke through for a few minutes giving some awesome clarity on the landscape.
Works well with some car trails too.

Another stunning day in Guernseyland. The clouds started to roll in late afternoon and I had hoped for some more colour in the sky but it was still a lovely evening. 882 days complete!

Trying to keep my fitness levels up with another cliff walk around Le Gouffre. I did stop far too many times to get a shot of the butterflies. Slightly messy background on this but they tend to stick close to the ground on windy days.

In a moment of weakness I couldn't help but return to capture a few more shots of the Damselfly's. This was the shot I had in mind but I was hoping for more backlight and slightly thinner grass. They just didn't understand what I was trying to tell them!
