EASTERN BLACK SWALLOWTAIL

223.365

Roaming around the grounds of the farmhouse I stumbled across this beauty.  Reminds me of Heimlich from Bugs Life :)

FABULOUS FERMAIN

222.365

My third visit in successive days. Three completely different moods but I wanted something with a more summery feel.  Off to France for a week for a well deserved break!

BLUE WHALE

JIMINY

220.365

Definitely the biggest cricket I've seen this year!  This shot was set up by placing the cricket on the end of stick and unbelievably it stayed there while placing the stick in the ground and re-positioning it to get a clean background.

LE JAONNEUSE

216.365

One of the more underrated beaches in the island with Fort Pembroke in the distance.  If you ignore the fact that the islands waste is dumped right next door its a pleasant beach to look at. Guaranteed to see owls too if you wait around long enough.

ECHOS OF THE PAST

214.365

Quick trip to the Undergound Hoispital on the way back to work.  Always good to get in here at least once a year.  At first all the tunnels look the same but each chamber has developed its own characteristics over the time.  The echos make it feel very eerie.

DIAGO

213.365

Safely re-homed our garden frog to a nearby nature reserve.  He disappeared for a few minutes then resurfaced to say goodbye.  I named him Diago :)

SH!T

HAWKER

206.365

After an armful of nettles, shoes full of soil and a long trek up the cliffs, this dragonfly finally settled for a few minutes.  Even managed to move some distractions behind without scaring him off.
