One of the most challenging shots I've taken to date. These little buggers just don't stay still and to make things even more challenging, it was raining and I got the shakes with excitement. Sounds weird but it happens when you've been after something for years and you get minutes to compose and capture it!

Last day of summer and what a stunning light show to finish it off! I took this shot slightly earlier in the evening after a few girls decided to use the groynes as hurdles in front of me. Bit of mixed bag of weather this morning. Missed the early vibrant orange skies but hung around to watch the sun pop up and even saw a three dolphins heading towards Fermain. One of them is just about visible on the bottom right at 100% :)

Spent the day in Herm with great friends, chilling on the beach and swimming in the crystal clear waters of Shell Beach. My wildlife spotters found this pheasant and three chicks wandering around the common on our way back from the Mermaid.

Our last morning in France so I went for a nice morning walk before the big drive home. It's difficult to find a view that sums up the area but its more or less miles and miles of peaceful country roads and rural farmland just like this with Paimpont Forest in the distance.
