An observation post high on the south coast cliffs.  Originally the site of a watch house, this tower was one of many built as part of Hitlers 'Altantic Wall' in an attempt to build an indestructible fortress across the islands.

The 'infamous' Pea Stacks on the Jerbourg headland.  This location is probably best at this time of year as the sun sets clear of the coastline, leaving a golden glow right until the last minute.

These tiny insects are only a few millimeters long but still fascinating to look at close up.  Focusing this close is a massive challenge, working with a microscopic depth of field.  I was also lying on my belly in a patch of wet stinging nettles to get this shot!
