Ever wandered what the inside of Le Gouffre fishing store looks like? Its just full of massive spiders and cobwebs with some spare buoys.

Love these little birds. Taken down on the fishing quay, they seem to be unfazed by people so you can get within a few metres without scaring them off. I've even seem them using the pedestrian crossing on the bridge a few times before. Very civilized!

One of my favourite images from today's local safari tour around St Saviour. Part of the challenge is setting out with a theme in mind and just see what you can find. Luckily for me this pony was happy to stop eating grass long enough for a few poses.

Absolute stunner over the marina this morning. The sea was like a mirror with hardly a breath of wind!

Serious lack of motivation today, but needs must and any shot will do when you hit the wall.

Fancied another walk around Lihou this afternoon with the intention of shooting the Venus Pools. The shot I had in mind needed an overcast or cloudier day but I did find the pools very well signposted.

I've taken hundreds of photographs over the last few days but near the end of the pile was one of my favorites. Walking back up the hill from Moulin Huet I passed an old lady, turned around and snapped. The lonely figure just made the image for me. All the thinking that goes into making an image and sometimes its the spotanious ones that make you happy.

The snow has lingered around all day and temperatures barely moved above zero. Trying to capture it all is impossible but I always told myself to just go back to familiar places I know and love and record the moments to look back on.

For the first time since 2013, the island was coated in a fairly decent layer of snow. It was like Christmas all over again!

Amazing light rays poking through the clouds this morning behind the harbour cranes.

Sunday afternoon trek around the lanes of St Andrew's. Jude wand Alana were having a great time walking together. Love those shades :)

Great to see this event finally taking place in Guernsey. I only managed to see an hour late afternoon but really enjoyed it. You needed to be a bit adventurous on foot to find a good spot.
I knew from the start I didnt want to purely focus on the cars, it needed to a 'scene' from the event.

Pretty quiet afternoon if the quarry, the only movement was a few truck loads of aggregate and the seagulls making themselves heard.

My daily commute to and from work in St Martin, twice a day for the last 15 years! Some days I mix it up and go round the west coast :)

I almost ditched these shots because of the blown out highlights but I really liked the light over the rooftops and the way it catches the granite wall to the left.
5 shot vertical panoramic to maximize the sky, whilst still retaining the different terraced levels in the foreground that makes our town so unique. My ideal 'Postcard Guernsey' shot.
