Scouting locations for the colder months on the Pleinmont headland, accidentally entered a Seagull breeding ground. Counted around 20 empty nests but the gulls were still very territorial and attempted a few dive bombs towards me.

Attitude issues aside, we are so proud of Alana. She gives 100% in everything she does and enjoys doing it at the same time. Must get it from her dads side of the family ;o)

Pretty much everywhere you walk you'll see these at the moment. Getting one to position itself with the evening sun behind is another story!

Beautiful morning looking out across Port Soif from the viewpoint in the middle of the beach. One of those mornings where you just need to sit down for 30 minutes and watch the world wake up.

Popped across the pond to Jersey for our annual family trip to the zoo. Of all the animals, this was the highlight of my day. Not captive but roaming free in the trees around the area. I believe squirrels were released into the wild over 100 years ago.

There was only one place on my radar this afternoon. Sun, sea, tiny bit of sand and one of the best swims I've had this year.
Never happy with harsh sunlight shots so played around with curves and spit toning adjusments.

Most of us only ever venture down to Bluebell Woods in the spring but early summer mornings can be just as pleasant. Long gone are the vibrant flowers but the beams of light made a nice challenge.

Counted ten ducklings in total, most of them getting fed extremely well at the cafe then down to the water outfall for a nice drink and power nap.

A small break on the horizon was enough to get me out of bed this morning. Taken from Marble Bay.

The giver of all your sweet and savoury needs on a hot summers day.

Great afternoon celebrating this awesome little man's 1st birthday and catching up with some old friends. Such a cute little boy :)

Ultra wide letterbox panoramic from the rocky shores of Moulin Huet. Opted for the south to get out the wind, also hoping the sun would poke over the cliffs to light up some rocks but after two hours I'd had enough.
If you look closely you can see the cruise ship just to the right of the Pea Stacks.

If youve driven through town today, you will have noticed this stunning superyacht refuelling in the harbour. It certanly drew the crowds and probably had the whole island talking about it. Either way, it deserved a late evening background with some pink fluffy clouds thrown in.

Catching the last of the rays on the west side, trying to improve on one of my favorite 'Rockscape' locations. Just off Port Soif on a little island to the west of the beach, the tides play a big part in getting this to work. Heading home we were treated to a stunning orange moonrise from the east.

Spend a little time looking around and you'll find all sorts of wildlife. Finally found the huge monster crickets I remember from my childhood, but this frog caught my eye hopping around the edge of the pond. Had to go into super stealth mode to get down low enough to get a photo.

From desk to beach in just under 15 minutes. Quick photo in the cave then the rest of my lunch was spent chilling on the rocks by the sea. Lush!
25.06.18
Another charm of Guernsey's east coast, a small fishing harbour tucked away between Fermain and Marble Bay. The weather peaked at 25 making it feel like the Med under the midday sun.
24.06.18
I have no words to describe how stunning this sunset was, even 30 minutes after the sun had gone down the colours just expolded. Almose surreal to see but a perfect end to the weekend!
23.06.18
Stunning morning in GY1 with hardly a breath of wind and silky smooth waters. Worth getting out of bed for? Never a wasted journey to watch the sunrise!
22.06.18
Got a little stuck for inspiration this morning so went for a view over St Peter Port from the Mignot Plateau, taken about 15 minutes after sunrise.
