Our little alien in his first school nativity. Don’t think he actually sang a word but he performed his actions like a superstar.

I needed one last crack at Petit Port before the year is up. The sun sits so low for the last few hours of the day and with the scene changing by the minute, your’e spoiled for choices.

Even on what seems to be a grey dull morning, it’s still worth getting up and heading out because you just never know what can happen.

The west coast taking the full force of the 50mph winds and squally showers. With weather like this you always need to keep one eye on whats happening behind. Mother Nature waits for nobody!

The rain held up long enough to get out for an hour this afternoon. Nothing new and inspiring but nobody got any better at photography thinking about taking pictures!

Just because I like cows. They’re like the goldfish of the countryside, basic animals but nice to look at and talk to :)

Starting to feel very festive in St Peter Port now the lights are back. I’ve always thought that the lights in the Old Quarter are much much better than the High Street!

Not everyday you get to hold one of these bad boys. I could actually feel little pin pricks form it’s tiny claws gripping my hand! Half expected it to have a little nibble on my finger.
The name comes from a skull like pattern on it’s head.

Ambient rainstorms rolling on across the island this morning. This is the weather and light that the summer just doesn’t offer!

I remember the pepper pot from a very young age, always referring to it as ‘the ice cream’. Turns out it’s a great wind shelter and observation post too!

After yesterday’s adventures, today was like a slap in the face until it stopped raining on my way home. Saying that, shooting at night is great because the light doesn’t really change giving you more time to slow down.

Pure bliss down on the south coast this afternoon. The only footprints were those made by the birds. Found my spot and just waited for the right moment. It really is all about the light!

Spotted the tip of this bright vibrant tree driving along Rue a l’Eau. The grounds are bit unloved and the house boarded up which reminded me of a classic film I watched as a kid.
