Didn’t quite know how this morning would work out, there were beautiful pink high clouds towards France but they dissapeared pretty quickly. It wasn’t looking too promising until the sun burst through the clouds!

Just over two weeks in to 2019 and I believe there’s only been 8 minutes of sunshine in Guernsey so far and I’ve probably seen about 5 of them.
I want to try this again on a misty day to isolate those alien like branches. Reminds me of the monster from Stranger Things.

140 abreuvoirs are dotted around the island, built in the 1800’s they were designed as places for cattle to drink. The streams feeding them flow through the parishes eventually making their way out to sea.
