Stunning light down on Port Soif this afternoon. Bitterly cold wind and sand blasting up the dunes didn’t make it easy but persistence eventually paid off.

Always on the hunt for a new elevated street view in the dark. Tried getting this to work in colour but with so many variations in street light bulb temperature it just didn’t feel right.

Another one of the wow moments when you wake up and the sky is burning pink almost an hour before sunrise. Wind and sea spray issues aside, it was a stunning sight.

Saw this on social media yesterday and challenged myself to find it within an hour. Took 5 minutes! Fantastic way to sign off your work and I have to say the guys have done an incredible job repointing the sea wall.

Winter is well and truly in full swing and with that comes horrendous weather and crap light. The solution, use artificial light instead.

The beauty of living on such a small and unique island is the ability to revisit places time and time again. I used to worry about overdoing one location but over the years I finally accepted that I only do this for my own viewing pleasure!

With the high winds battering the North and West, I just couldn’t be bothered to battle the sea spray. So the south coast it was! The 100 metre high cliffs gave the perfect shelter.

If you think about it, Guernsey is just like one big giant farmyard. Most of the animals are visible from the road and don’t cost anything to see but the challenge is actually finding them.

Some brave souls were sat having breakfast sheltered in the fishing store at Saints, waiting for the tides to calm down before they headed out around the coast. Lovely morning but I’d rather them than me!
