This is the tree where Finley stood up by himself for the very first time. It’s a tiny patch in Delancey park but always hold that memory for me.

Sunrise on the outskirts of town. Probably the only time of day when you can have more than 1 minute without a car passing by.

Also known as the Common Blenny, you can find these in almost any rockpool across the UK. Sometimes they can also be known as Sea Frogs because they can survive lengthy periods out of water at low tide and jump back in like a frog.

Has to be the most unsubtle bird on the island. Walking the lanes, minding my own business I hear this pheasant hundreds of metres away then it flaps about almost saying, oi you, I’m over here! Got pretty close too so he obviously didn’t give two poops about my presence.

Tried photographing these coots a few times last week but just couldn’t get close enough. Today however they happily came within touching distance.

Constant rain really threw me off today. One of the best indoor play areas for enthusiastic creative minds is the underground hospital. It’s almost impossible to come out without a single shot!

You may have already noticed a familiar face in town today. Just over a year ago, Alana and three other kids were involved in a marketing campaign for Specsavers. We all assumed it was done and dusted and then it finally surfaced! Now it’s all public I’ll post some behind the scenes photos to show how much fun they had.

Some people like bird watching, others like fishing. I love weather watching, it brings me closer to the elements and nothing beats the wonders that nature brings! I suppose it’s a hobby within a hobby.

Quick stroll around the woodland walk above Talbot Valley before work. Another week or so and the bluebells should be in full bloom and completely transform this area.
