LORENZO

04.10.19

Even a tripod was unstable in this wind. I had to resort to lying on my belly to keep the camera still. The filters acted as a wind shield and I couldn’t keep up with cleaning off the spray so they had do go and hope that the raw files can retain some details without them.

RESERVOIR CHICKS

01.10.19

If you know the reservoir walk well, you can guess where these chicks live. They’ve almost tripled in the last few years and show no signs of slowing down.

LE GOUFFRE

21.09.19

One of the advantages of this hobby is the amount of walking involved to get to the places I love. No one ever said it would be easy but these eyes have seen Guernsey in pretty much every way I had always imagined. Sun, rain, cloud, gales, snow, thunder, you name it, I’ve experienced it. I almost feel like I’ve completed an RPG game that’s taken 5 years to complete! The final boss is winter…

THE BLUE ONE

19.09.19

After wearing out the shutter, I finally got my old dslr fixed which I used to love using for macro. The body and APSC lenses are super lightweight which really helps in handheld situations. Point is, the expensive gear isn’t necessarily the best in all situations.

LE MOULIN COTTAGE

17.09.19

The stunning National Trust land tucked away in Quanteraine Valley. The waterwheel was being repaired but it turned my attention to the charm and character of the old Guernsey cottages. This cottage is over 150 years old, built in 1866!
