CROCUS

Between the storms you just need to look at the ground to notice that spring is just around the corner. We’ve nearly made it through the shit, now you can look forward to the vibrant colours of spring. I do love the winter but I do miss those long warm summer days.

SEA MIST

Petit Bot taking a battering from the southerly winds. As the waves crashed the sea spray was being blown up the cliff edge. Half shade, half sunlight, this was a nightmare to correct the white balance.

WILD WATER

11.02.20

Took the old 70D out to stretch her shutter curtains, my dedicated ‘this could end badly’ camera. Ended up parking sideways in the road and shooting out my window, heaters blasting and quietly watching others actually putting themselves in danger getting battered by sea water and eventually rain. I even watched someone park in the car park in front of me which was empty for a reason, only for the inevitable to happen. There’s taking a risk and then there’s being an idiot.

GEN Z

Quick Minecraft session before story time. I think I’m firm but fair with screen time in our house but I will make exceptions on the odd occasion. I’ll give it to them, some of the worlds the kids have created in Minecraft are quite remarkable. From secret underground portals to diving boards in the clouds, nothing is off limits!
