GUERNSEY DAYS

06.05.20

A little rock in the middle of the channel, a place I like to call home. Spring into summer, walking the cliffs at this time of year is truly a memorable experience. Get up high and admire the views. Wildflowers as far as the eye can see and tropical blue waters.

CURLY

02.05.20

Alana’s at that age where she’s starting to care more about her hair (most of the time). She also wanted to be like her BFF Grace. The secret to this one, wet plaits overnight, take it out in the morning and ‘voila’! Don’t even need to fight those knots, and I can’t deal with knots in long hair!

SONG THRUSH

27.04.20

Found this Thrush chick struggling to fly, trying to get back up onto the earth bank where there were clearly a few more in a nearby nest. After seeing a car nearly squash it I decided to grab it and place it up on higher ground. Felt like Ace Ventura.

L'EREE

25.04.20

Took the kids to see Frog Rock for the first time today. Nice to see them enjoying the outdoors again. I want to plant memories of the island in their heads and hopefully enjoy it as much as I do. Had to take a detour past this boat on the coast road. Loving all the Flags and bunting around the island at the moment. Coulnt’t ask to be quarantined anywhere better really.

SAINTS MIST

24.04.20

Watching the fog roll in from the south, hoping the light would burst through. Didn’t happen but it was (and always is) so peaceful down here. Even spotted a seal pop it’s head up a few times.

SUNRISE RAINBOW

21.04.20

We all see rainbows but seeing them so big as the sun rises or sets is very rare. In the 6 years I’ve been obsessing over photography, I’ve only ever seen this three times. Not the best location for it but a photo than needed to be taken.
