I love reptiles and amphibians. I even see them in the clouds! I did get a second opinion from Danni to make sure I wasn’t loosing my mind. It’s even got accurate eye details!

Had a proper risk analysis moment with this one. Even at low tide the strong winds were bringing the sea over the pier and a massive rain cloud was edging closer. I had about 10 minutes to pull something off and for 2-3 of those minutes the sky pumped out some dreamy colours.

Bordeaux Harbour with an incoming shower slowly creeping in. That rainbow got pretty big and stuck around for nearly half an hour.

After the last four weeks of stunning weather, today felt a little bit empty and uninspiring. Still, plenty of the island to see and explore and the summer will return. Need my Herm fix!

Loads of ducklings in the pond at Saumarez Manor. The little fluff balls came within touching distance, obviously well cared for by us fellow humans.

I had a shot planned which I scouted out yesterday. The problem was, the hay bales that made the shot work had been removed overnight! A few f bombs later, these two cows were in the field opposite and you can’t turn down a cow that runs over to you for a stroke.

The morning after the epic garden/greenhouse party, these two spent over an hour enjoying life in the hot tub. The rest of us just quietly suffered with the taste of alcohol lingering around.

Holidays are probably out the question for the foreseeable future so I’ll embrace what I’ve been doing for the last 6 years and be a tourist in my own home. This iconic landmark is a brand in itself and there’s nothing else quite like it anywhere else.

Spend a little time in the long grass, have a little patience and learn to be stealthy as. The problem with these darters is they like to hide low down so getting a clean background was a nightmare.

Mysterious oval stones leading up to Rousse Tower. Never found out what they are or were for, only that they made an interesting feature for an image. The only info I can find is some Bronze Age finds back in 1994. Maybe they’re dragons eggs, laid thousands of years ago! Godzilla?
